Matt’s impressive corporate background includes event logistics and financial experience. Before joining our team, he lived in Hong Kong while serving as the Director of Finance & Planning for TaylorMade Golf. Having participated in numerous incentive programs and conferences, he understands the needs of corporate clients. In addition to being an all-around great guy, Matt’s a scratch golfer, and excellent surfer.
Sue Meylan, CMP

Sue brings more than 16 years of professional event design, venue management, planning, and production savvy to our team. Outside the office, you can find her volunteering at Boys Hope Girls Hope San Francisco Bay Area and traveling the world–she was last spotted sleeping in the Sahara! She is also an active member of Meeting Professionals International, and is well connected within the meetings and events industry.
Karen Devidé Bajraktarevic
Karen has lived and traveled throughout three continents. Her Latin American background and Spanish-language fluency made her a key organizer for incentive trips, meetings, and events in Croatia. She also spent time supporting people with disabilities for the Sovereign Order of Malta. Karen and her husband live in the Sunset District with their lively Border Collie mix and darling Baby Kyana.
ALIX LEVY, CMP
Director, Design & Events
Forever in love with special occasions of all shapes and sizes, Alix attributes her event knowledge mostly to her time spent watching Martha Stewart; but, she entertains the idea that she was possibly influenced by the array of jobs she’s had in the event world over the years or the degrees in graphic design and communications from her beloved tree-filled alma mater, UC Davis. Alix’s passion for event styling and organization led her to Cappa & Graham in 2012 where she’s thrived since.
Morgan Cásarez, CMP
Associate Director, Events Bilingual, English/Spanish
Morgan is a born communicator with degrees in journalism and Spanish from SF State. Before graduating, she spent a year exploring her love of language (and tapas) in Granada, Spain. As an editorial assistant in her native Sacramento, she excelled at producing high quality written content in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment before joining us in 2014. A true Taurus, Morgan’s wit, aesthetic eye, and adventurous spirit enhance every project she undertakes.
Program & Venue Manager
A Northern California native, Tansy moved to San Francisco in 2009 to pursue a degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism at San Francisco State University. During her studies she discovered her passion for event planning, and as a senior she interned with Cappa & Graham. Today, Tansy continues to bring fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the team; and while she delights in the tiniest of details, one of her favorite things to do is to stroll the city with no plans at all.
Gordon R. Thompson, DMCP, CMP
Gordon has run the show for most of his professional life. He spent 20+ years in the Army, and retired as a Ltn. Colonel. While at Cappa & Graham, he served on San Francisco Travel Association's Board of Directors, and taught in both the Business, and Recreation & Leisure departments at San Francisco State University. No less impressive–Gordon has an endless mental rolodex of jokes and can lighten just about any mood.
Violetta M. Reiser

Violetta is a talented graphic artist. Her background in printing, publishing and web design allows us to produce high-quality program materials and web pages in-house. With her extensive knowledge of automation, Violetta flourishes as our technological authority and her artistic talents add value to every event. She’s also a passionate animal advocate who loves to spend time in the garden.
